5 Creative Things March 10th, 2014

Sip Snap

I feel like I review a lot of kids products, but here’s another one. This is the Sip Snap cover. It’s made for any cup so kids don’t have to use their specific sippy cup. These covers help transition kids into ‘grown up’ cups. It’s creative because it’s not just at top for one cup, it’s a top for many cups and it’s made for the potential disorganized parent.

The Glyph

This is a device that changes the way we listen to music and watch screens. It’s creative because it merges the screen watching with headphones. This device makes it so you can just move the top part of it down and you will instantly be put in this virtual reality system.

Animation Dock

When I was younger, I wanted to become an animator. In order to see what it was like, I went to an animation summer camp where they practiced old animation techniques. I was really turned off to the fact that you had to draw something over and over again on this stationary desk. This tablet extension gets rid of that stationary desk. It is eco-friendly because you aren’t using paper to create your hundreds of iterations to make an animation. It’s creative because there’s not anything like it on the market, it’s portable and it gives a new way to do animation.

PebbleBee

I have been looking for something like this for forever! It’s a tracking device that connects your potential lost object  to your smartphone. You use one pebble and put it on something you think you could lose i.e. a remote, keys, etc..Then you sync the other pebble to your phone. It’s creative because the creators found an affordable way to make a tracking device that is easy to place and easy to use.

NYC Spagetti Packaging

I love this packaging because it’s a different view on how spaghetti packaging should be. It’s creative because once the spaghetti goes out of the packaging it because the iconic New York building. It doesn’t pay as much attention to eh form as much as it does to the inside of the packaging, which I find intriguing.
